Submission Guidelines

The Journal of Research in Integrative Biology (JRIB) invites submissions of quality papers by researchers, academics, practitioners, scientists, and other industry professionals from all over the world.

Manuscripts need to be original, scientifically valid, and formatted in accordance with the journal's submission guidelines prior to submission.

Manuscripts are to be submitted either via the online submission portal or as per the journal guidelines.

Before submitting, authors should ensure that:

  • Manuscript is original and has never been published before.
  • Manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • All the authors have given their approval to the final version of the manuscript.
  • Ethical approval is given wherever required.
  • Conflict of interests has been declared.
  • Funding for this research has been declared.
  • References are provided correctly.

The editorial office acknowledges every submission and keeps authors informed throughout the review and publication process.

Submission Process

JRIB follows a transparent and structured submission workflow to ensure fairness, efficiency, and scientific quality.

Step 1: Manuscript Preparation

Prepare your manuscript in accordance with the journal’s guidelines for authors. Make sure you have all necessary documents ready. These may include the following:

  • Cover Letter
  • Manuscript File
  • Figures
  • Tables
  • Supplementary Materials (if any)
  • Ethical Approval Statement (if any)
  • Conflict of Interest Declaration

Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial office makes an initial assessment to establish:

  • Relevance to the aims of the journal
  • Completeness of the manuscript
  • Quality of the language
  • Fulfillment of the guidelines for submission
  • Ethical aspects
  • Originality of science

Those manuscripts that fail to meet the basic criteria set by the journal will be returned back to authors for revisions before peer review.

Step 3: Double-Blind Peer Review

Appropriate submissions are subjected to a strict double blind peer-review process. Independent reviewers assess:

  • Scientific value
  • Innovativeness
  • Research approach
  • Accuracy of data
  • Results interpretation
  • Literature review
  • Contribution to the field

Reviewer names remain anonymous during the process of reviewing.

Step 4: Editorial Decision

The Editor will make any of the following decisions based on reviewer recommendations:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

Authors who are requested to revise their papers should submit a revised manuscript along with responses to reviewers’ comments.

Step 5: Final Acceptance

Accepted manuscripts undergo:

  • Technical editing
  • Language editing
  • Formatting
  • Proof preparation
  • Author proof approval

The final article is prepared for publication after all corrections have been completed.

Step 6: Online Publication

Accepted articles are published online and become immediately accessible to the global scientific community through the journal's open access platform.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Authors should prepare manuscripts in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

The manuscript should include the following sections where applicable:

  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements
  • Funding Information
  • Conflict of Interest Statement

General formatting recommendations

  • Use a clear and readable font.
  • Page numbers should be consecutively numbered.
  • Use SI units in the manuscript.
  • Tables and figures should be numbered in sequence.
  • Abbreviations should be defined upon their first mention.
  • Cite the literature appropriately according to the journal style.
  • Make sure the figures are high resolution.
  • Always provide source files wherever possible.

Authors are encouraged to write clearly and present data accurately to facilitate peer review and improve scientific communication.
